The OmniYoga Trust was founded as a non-profit organisation with charitable aims. We support and build specialised yoga-based projects to widen participation in yoga and reach sections of the community that would not usually have access to yoga. We believe that everyone can benefit from the mental and physical health aspects of yoga.
We love yoga and want to enable as many people as possible to experience the benefits that we have experienced in terms of our health, well-being and self empowerment!

We ran a very successful relaxation course at Cam-Mind earlier this year (2009). Cam-Mind works locally in Cambridge supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties. The aim of the course was to teach service users how to manage stress and anxiety, let go of the effects of daily tension and in doing so, promote mental well-being and bring about a sense of deep calm and focus. The course was well- received and well-attended and we hope to run it again in the near future. We are currently working with Cam-Mind to develop a Stress Management in the workplace course.

We raised over £600 through our summer fundraising activites! We took part in the Big Weekend (part of Cambridge’s Summer in the City), had a wonderful Yoga in the Park 2008 season and an inspirational Open Weekend at the Sukhmani Centre, sponsors of Yoga in the Park. Many thanks to all of our supporter. Photos and a report on the events can be found here.
