We have taught workshops with groups of people who are in drug and alcohol support programmes, taster yoga workshops and regular classes in and around Cambridge. We are looking to collaborate further with local organisations, this year we are working with Cam-Mind to put together a series of yoga workshops with people experiencing mental health problems and stress management courses in the workplace.
Our main event in the past couple of years has been Yoga in the Park, which has been well received by students as well as teachers. We have been able to enjoy doing yoga outdoors in the sunshine, being taught by a variety of teachers and meeting new people.

Welcome!
The OmniYoga Trust was founded as an organisation with charitable aims. We support and build specialised yoga-based projects to widen participation in yoga and reach sections of the community that would not usually have access to yoga. We believe that everyone can benefit from the mental and physical health aspects of yoga.
We love yoga and want to enable as many people as possible to experience the benefits that we have experienced in terms of our health, well-being and self empowerment!

The Sukhmani Centre has raised £500 in April 2009 to go towards our courses with Cam-Mind.
We raised over £600 through our summer fundraising activites! We took part in the Big Weekend (part of Cambridge’s Summer in the City), had a wonderful Yoga in the Park 2008 season and an inspirational Open Weekend at the Sukhmani Centre, sponsors of Yoga in the Park. Many thanks to all of our supporters, the money raised will go towards our project in conjunction with Cam-mind to teach yoga classes with people with mental health difficulties, starting in 2009.
